Late in the evening on Thursday, September 18 the Fukuoka Now website suddenly went offline. The company that hosts our site has since explained that the hard disk on which our website's data was stored failed. Unfortunately, their backup hard disks also failed at the same time. As of Saturday, September 20, the website was restored data up to point of August 29, 2008. We are working hard to restore data posted between August 29 and September 20.

Important Notes:

(1) User Registration
• If you registered on our website between Aug. 29 and September 20, you will need to register again. If you registered before August 29 you should be able to login and use the site as before.

(2) Fukuoka Now Classifieds
• All classified messages posted between Aug. 29 and September 20 have been lost. Unfortunately we are unable to re-post your messages for you. You must log into the website and re-post for your messages. You can do this anytime from now.

(3) Commercial Classified Messages
• Companies or individuals with an active commercial classified message posted in the period between Aug. 29 to Sep. 20, will receive a full month worth of exposure on our site at no extra charge. This one month period will begin as soon as the new message has been re-posted.

Thanks to everyone for your patience during this period of system trouble. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Steps have already been taken to ensure similar problems will not happen in the future.
