Fukuoka Now, publisher of the foreign language “Now Map” series of Fukuoka City maps is proud to announce a new title: “Now Map – Cycling Edition”. It’s the same size as the other Now Maps (A3) and carries information in three languages: Korean, English and Japanese. The purpose of the map is to provide visitors and resident foreigners with information and tips for safe and enjoyable cycling in Fukuoka.
The map features four recommended routes with information on sites to be seen along the way: Fukuoka from the Sea Route (28km / 5h30min), Seaside and Nature (14km / 2h30min), Historic Fukuoka (7km / 1h30min) and the Downtown Landmark Route (18km / 4h). It also has a digest of the official rules and manners for cycling in Fukuoka. Information on a bicycle rental services, 18 public bicycle parking facilities, and ferry schedules & fees for those cycling to Uminonakamichi are also included.
15,000 copies were printed and are available now for free at tourist information counters inside Hakata Station and Tenjin Station (near the entrance to Mitsukoshi Department Store).
