Last night (5/10) Fukuoka Now staff attended the pre-opening event for “Beer Air” – the fabulous outdoor beer garden located on the 4th floor observation deck at Fukuoka Airport Terminal 2. Delicious food and breathtaking views are just two things that make the beer taste even better at Beer Air! Enjoy panoramic views of airplanes taking off and landing, whilst sipping a beer on the spacious terrace. Perfect for beer lovers, plane lovers and photographers- watch the the planes take off from the tarmac and hear the sounds of their engines. The garden also faces west, making a spectacular location for sunsets.

Food-wise, you’ll find fresh and delicious sushi, salads, bruschetta, karaage, pizza, oden, Japanese curry, noodles, plus some tasty desserts. Dishes are supplied by the restaurants located inside the airport so there’s a wide variety to choose from. Drinks include Asahi and Kirin on tap, highball cocktails, shochu, sake, wine, soft drinks and more. An afternoon at the Fukuoka Airport Beer Terrace is like taking a trip overseas without leaving Fukuoka! The terrace is connected is part of the remodelled Airport observation deck.
