Entry-level DSLR camera Pentax K-m, only 13k yen, Hakata

Mar 4, 2017 20:42 by Alkibiades

This is a camera with which I started my interest in photography, Pentax K-m with a standard versatile 35-80 mm lens. It used to be the best entry-level DSLR a few years ago and it is still excellent for anyone who wants to give it a try.

I used it with great success and am only selling it because I bought a higher-end model recently and end up not using this one at all.

There are lots of tests and reviews available online, I can also send you any kind of pictures you like that I personally made with the camera.

The body is in a great condition, the neck strap is showing age though. No SD card included. I can throw in barely used 4 Eneloop Pro rechargeables if you like for 1000 yen (1200 on Amazon).

Price: 13000 yen. The best price I found (Amazon, “very good” condition) was 17200 https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/offer-listing/B001GNBLRG/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used A bargain anyway for a DSLR.

Location: near Maidashi-kyudai-byoin-mae station. Feel free to take a look / test before you buy.

And if you are interested in my personal opinion about this camera:
Pros: Large sensor (pics will be miles ahead of say a smartphone camera), powered by AA batteries, good lens, quick autofocus, manufacturer (you can reuse lenses if you upgrade), easy/basic controls.
Cons: no video, low ISO (difficult to take good handheld night shots), easy/basic controls.
