Shane English School Kyushu is seeking a part-time English teacher.
We teach a range of classes in a welcoming and relaxed environment. Our students range from advanced professionals to those encountering a foreign language for the first time, at the age of two-years-old. All of our classrooms are well resourced, and our students enjoy a high level of support not only from our highly trained school counsellors, but also via a wide range of online and other materials.
The ideal candidate will be someone that loves teaching English, and who holds a CELTA or other equivalent qualification in TESOL. A university degree and 2 years of teaching experience are also requirements.
They will also be confident in their ability to competently teach all kinds of classes.
Native level speakers of English, who have received at least 6 years education in a country where English is the dominant language, are especially welcome.

Most importantly, you should be motivated to help students achieve their language learning goals, and enjoy teaching English.
We are presently looking to fill Monday and Tuesday shifts, starting at around 2:30pm to 8pm. Average paid lesson time Is around 4 hours, and there are 44 days of paid teaching a year.
Typically, shifts yield between 8,000 and 15,000 yen.
The hourly pay rate ranges from 2,200 to 2,800 yen per hour, in is subject to experience and ability.
