ACHIEVEMENTS 2010-2018

• University conversation partner for international students. While most students were assigned one international student per year. I averaged 3.8 for my four years at West Virginia University 2010-2013
• NGENGLISHWVU – Number 1 source (over 150 international students) for enhanced English training along with matching international students with classes so they can get their degrees faster. Students were from all over the world, with the majority of my students being Japanese. In summary, my students were from over 30 countries and this was my free service for the international community at my university. 2010-2013
• Ube Gaigo Center- Head teacher and first teaching job in Japan. Promoted to Assistant Manager. Helped organize classes and maintained communication with parents on their student’s progress. My schedule consisted with the more difficult students due to performance and ability to get and maintain student rapport. 2013- 2014
• Interac- Along with the normal ALT duties, everyday I taught basketball and volleyball to the middle school students. Also provided help to other teachers and staff whenever I had any free time. 2015
• New Hope for Cambodian Children- Out of the 12 native English speakers, I taught around 8-10 hours per day. I was responsible for the highest workload and also the most important class (grade 9-12) where students had to pass a new national test. This was extremely important as this was a N.P.O where 98 percent of the students were H.I.V positive. On weekends, I usually tried to stay on weekends to help talk to the youth about their future and try to motivate them along with having a great time with my students and others. 2014
• Creditsafe- As a Country Launch Manager, I, along with a few westerners, successfully guided, researched and launched a multi-million dollar company from U.S/Europe and through cultural fusion was able to establish the best location, conducted over 100 interviews, hired managers and basic staff. I also taught English for free for all our employees in both Fukuoka and Tokyo. 2015-2018

TEACHING ACTIVITIES AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Creditsafe
Position- Business Launch Manager (Japan) Description- Identify strengths, weaknesses and potential for Creditsafe to launch in Japan via daily communication with assets that currently reside in Japan along with developing group structure and daily reports. Currently involved in the recruiting process for the telesales and team leader roles for the Japanese office Sold credit reports to small-medium sized companies within the United States. Assisted Learning and Development manager at the U.S. office with processing new intakes and participating in both group and 1 on 1 meetings. Continued training at the U.K. office as well as training at the Holland office. As of this moment, I currently teach Business English to about 22-28 of our fellow employees at our Fukuoka office. I have designed each curriculum for each level respectively and sometimes a lesson path for one person if they really need to improve their English skills. I also act as sales-support from my experience in the states to assist Japanese tele-sales hit their targets. I will also do 1 on 1 meetings concerning sales and sale strategies that a employee should and should not use where the employee and I can come to a decision of what he/she needs to be focused on.

Description- Assist English instructors in providing lesson plans, materials, knowledge to help students gain English language acquisition more effectively. Grade reports. Deliver lesson plans. Instruct students. Volunteer in school events such as basketball practice, sports day, etc. on a regular basis.

New Hope for Cambodian Children
Position- Head Instructor
Description- Teach English, Science, History, along with Moral Education to grades 7-12 who lack education. Calculate grades, report improvements and other advice to principal concerning school matters. Help monitor and design special events for children. Provide test preparation lessons and materials, particularly with English grammar in order for students to succeed in national testing.

Ube Foreign Language School
Position- English instructor/ Assistant Manager
Description- Teach students of all ages, from kindergarten to adults and company classes. I also teach many TOEIC classes as well. Provide feedback to my manager about my students’ progress. Design lesson plans that catered to individual and group students. I believe two my best assets during my tenure was teaching and working with children and also teaching TOEIC classes to professional individuals in the academic field as well as managing/teaching our mommy and me through grade 5 classes as it took a lot of focus, hard work and dedication to make sure every lesson was done on a timely manner while also providing a solid foundation for the children concerning their English acquisition ability.

Volunteer description/skills- Provide comprehensive English skills and tutoring to international students that are dedicated to mastering English as a second language. I started this program on my own and this is one of the most things that I am proud of. After about a year after starting this free service for international students, I had well over 150 students, a secretary and two back up teachers. I was able to fast-track international students to get to their degrees faster so that their families can save money. I taught a wide range of students. Everyone that was just starting university and also teaching doctoral students English. This program is primarily responsible for me wanting to be the best English teacher and supporter I can possibly be.
