I have hundreds of VHS videos of films and TV shows I will give to anyone who wants to come to my home in Tosu and take the lot (or at least 70 to 80 percent). I also have the video player/recorders that you can have. Most of the films are US or UK films in English with no Japanese subtitles. Some are in other languages with English subtitles. Also, a few are Japanese films with English subtitles. There are a total of about 700 to 800 or more video cassettes. It is a fairly eclectic collection, but it definitely has an African-American focus. Many of the videos star or feature black actors and actresses and are of interest to black people or those interested in “Black” culture. Some of the stars featured include, Morgan Freeman, Dorothy Dandridge, Sidney Poitier, Diahann Carroll, James Earl Jones, Cicely Tyson and Lou Gossett Jr, just to name a few.
I’m thinking of just throwing them out, but I thought I would give anyone interested a chance to acquire some good films.
