Australian teacher with CELTA, and more.

Hello, I'm Steve (30) from Australia.

I've been teaching English to Japanese and Korean students in Sydney for 3 years. Now I've come to Japan, and I'm living in Yakuin, Fukuoka.

I'd like to find teaching work. At the moment, I teach a few children's classes each week, but I'd like more.

I've got the Cambridge University CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults), and I have just completed, but not yet received, the Graduate Diploma in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Wollongong University in Australia.

In Sydney, I was a teacher at the University of Western Sydney English Language Centre. I've taught TOEIC and IELTS preparation courses too.

I have very basic Japanese, I can read Hiragana and Katakana (and about 150 kanji) and I am learning fast.
