Japan’s top tall ships event attracts ships from both Japan and abroad. Catch the arrival parade, watch a sailing drill performance, board towering tall ships, join a cruise of Nagasaki Port, or take a canoeing or knot-tying class. Ships are illuminated at night and there are fireworks on the 23rd and 24th from 20:30.

Due to The 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake, the individual events scheduled (fireworks, stage performances, etc.) will run on a smaller scale than previously planned. The parade timing may change due to strong winds; any changes will be announced on the official website.
