The Aobanomori Concert will take place at Nomiyama Kannonji Temple’s Hagiya tea store. Accordion and Spanish guitar duo Kinemachikoru will be performing alongside Byon Kay, a musician who is known for his use of rare instruments, such as the mouth harp. The Kannonji flea market will also be taking place on the same day (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The monthly homa ritual, which involves burning wooden sticks to ask for blessings, will be held from 10:30. Visitors can also check out sutra copying workshops, which will run throughout the day (reception: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). A special Nishitetsu bus will be running from Sasaguri Sta. to the venue. This promises to be a fun-filled day, so make sure to check it out!
