Avispa Fukuoka will kick off their 2018 J2 campaign on Feb. 25. Their first match will be at home to FC Gifu, as the club attempts to win promotion back to the top tier of Japanese soccer after narrowly missing-out last season. The Meiji Yasuda J2 League will run from Feb. 25 to Nov. 17 without a break for the World Cup.
