A celebration of Japanese period and outfits will take place at Maizuru Park this cherry blossom viewing season! A large gathering of guests wearing kimono and other forms of Japanese clothing from previous eras is scheduled to take place. Visitors will also be able to try on Japanese-style armor between 13:00~17:00. Performances will take place on a specially constructed stage (13:00~13:45, 15:00~15:45) that will shed light on the history of Fukuoka Castle! Visitors dressed in Japanese clothing who will take photos at the castle and upload their images to social media with the hashtag “#福岡城和装” (Fukuoka Castle Japanese Clothing) will have a chance of winning a prize!
