Cleaning Day Fukuoka with Manu Coffee

START: May 21, 2016 END: May 29, 2016

The Finnish eco-friendly trend has reached Fukuoka! This globally popular flea market-style event aims to “make recycling easy” – it’s an environmentally friendly way for people to get rid of items they don’t want anymore (but which are still in good condition). The Fukuoka event is being held by Manu Coffee, which means it is taking on a coffee “flavor”: this Cleaning Day event is only for coffee-related equipment. Upon donation, all items will have a price set; half of all the proceeds go towards those affected by the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquakes (the total will be announced on Manu Coffee’s website), and the other half will go towards hosting the next Cleaning Day event (on Aug. 27). Those who donate one or two items will receive a drip coffee bag! (And those who donate between three and five will get two, and those handing in over six items with get three drip coffee bags.) From May 21 (Sat.) to 27 (Fri.), you can drop off your items at any Manu Coffee branch. Then shop the selection on May 28 (Sat.) or 29 (Sun.) at Manu Coffee Jotenji. Please note that items which are broken or in poor condition will not be accepted.
