The world is still mourning the passing of a the legendary artist. To commemorate David Bowie’s prolific career, Masayoshi Sukita, a famous Fukuoka-born photographer (who has exhibited around the world, including in London, Melbourne and New York), will host a small exhibition called “Just for One Day”; the exhibit will consist of portraits he took of Bowie over a period of 40 years. On Feb. 10 (Wed.) at 19:00, Masayoshi Sukita (photographer) and Kenjiro Fukamachi (musician) will give a joint talk on David Bowie (tickets are ¥1,000, available at Tsutaya or via Peatix). Bowie lives on in Sukita’s photographs and our memories.
