Calling all otaku and fancy dress fanatics! The catchily named “Cosplay Dontaku Parade 2016” will be hitting Susaki Park on May 4th. This anime-orientated blowout aims to promote cosplay and otaku culture in Fukuoka. This means a colorful cosplay parade (registration is now closed), as well as a huge party with music, dancing, bingo games, and something intriguingly termed a “picture event”. There’ll also be an after party (¥500) at Oyafuko-dori Buzz (20:00~1:00). We’re sure it’ll be otaku-tastic.
