This exhibition features various Hakata suzu (tin) items such as sake bowls, plates, and accessories. The creations on display are sure to highlight the various qualities of tin as a material, namely that it does not rust nor require a great deal of care. Saga nishiki, a brocading form that uses gold, silver or lacquer coated Japanese paper as the warp, will also be in exhibition. There will be a total of 160 items on display, with some of the works on sale.
