The public is invited to enter the Fukuoka City Zoo and Botanical Garden free of charge on Midori no Hi (Green Day)! A free shuttle bus will be running from Ohorikoen Subway Sta. to the Botanical Garden. But if the weather’s nice, why not get off at Yakuin or Sakurazaka Station and walk the rest of the way? The garden’s budding green leaves will be a great background to enjoy a picnic with family and friends this Golden Week!
