Dontaku is one of Japan’s Biggest festivals, with over two million visitors annually. The colorful parade through the city has over 830 years of history. There will be food stalls, daytime performances on around 30 stages, and, in the evening, illuminated “Flower Cars” (decorated vehicles) roll through the streets.
