The Kawabata Night Festival once again offers the chance to get a traditional Hakata ningyo (doll) through ¥500 gachapons (capsule machines). The stall with the gachapon will be located near the exit of the Nakasu Kawabata subway station inside the Kawabata shotengai (shopping arcade). Last time this was held at the Hakata Traditional Craft and Design Museum all 160 available ningyo were sold out in about two hours.
