Featuring works from both established, as well as up and coming artists, the Hoki Museum opened in Chiba in November 2010 to help develop Japanese Realist painting. This exhibition in Saga marks the first time that works from the Hoki Art Museum Collection have been exhibited in Kyushu and gives art lovers the chance to enjoy contemporary Realist paintings.
