The Ishibashi Bunka Center has the largest rose garden in Fukuoka. The peak season lasts for about a month starting in early May with 2,600 roses of over 400 varieties. Look forward to the various events on 5/3 (Fri., hol.) ~ 5/6 (Mon., hol.) including live music performances, rose workshops (pressed flower making, perfume making, rose accessory making and more), displays of rose arrangements and kiribana (flower cutting). You can also buy rose seedlings and watch a potting demonstration. There will be a market where you can browse and shop for various rose-themed items, and a cafe for refreshments.
