This year Itoshima was chosen as a special venue for the Short Shorts Film Festival. Outdoor screenings will take place in Shima Central Park, offering locals the chance to enjoy a selection of works from all over the world. The hour-long kid’s program will feature 10 titles, including “The Gift” (Japan), “Rock’n’Roll” (Netherlands), and “Dam! The Story of Kit the Beaver” (Canada). The Cannes’ program will have five feature-length films with titles including “4:15 pm. The End of The World” (Romania), “Business” (Argentine Republic), and “Silence” (Italy/France). Stalls will be there too, so visitors can pick up some food and drink to enjoy underneath the night sky!
