A wonderful opportunity to enjoy a jazz concert in the grounds of a sacred temple. The band is a four piece, with piano, bass, drums and tenor sax and go by the name Maizuru-Bikyoku-Dou. The concert is held on the last day of the of Hou-on-kou, an annual series of memorial services for the temple’s founder, Shinran (1173-1262).
