Kyushu & Yamaguchi Farm-Raised Seafood Fair

Many believe that farm-raised fish is not as tasty as wild-caught fish, but this fair aims to disabuse them of this notion. Kyushu and Yamaguchi fish farms, who account for 40% of domestic production, are teaming up to host this gourmet event. There will be a number of fish-orientated activities, such as chub mackerel sashimi tasting (each day at 10:30 ~ limited to 100 participants), fish cutting lessons (1/30: 11:30~, 15:30~; 1/31: 12:30~, 14:00~), cooking lessons (1/30: 13:30~, 16:30~; 1/31: 12:30~, 14:30~), a mock auction (1/30: 11:00~, 13:00~, 15:00~; 1/31: 11:00~, 13:30~, 15:00~ (everything-must-go sale at final 15:00 session)) and a fish slicing demonstration show (1/30: 10:30~, 12:30~, 14:30~; 1/31: 10:30~, 13:00~). So go enjoy some healthy, yummy fish and shellfish at this special fair!
