Now in its 8th year, the Nepal Festival in Fukuoka first began as part of efforts by Fukuoka-based international exchange students to initiate cultural exchange with the local community. It has since turned into a well-established festival. The two-day gathering will give participants the chance to experience authentic Nepali food and see traditional Nepali music and dance performances. Visitors can also browse for Nepali accessories and miscellaneous goods. Free sari wearing experiences as well as tourism information on Nepal will also be available.
