Shiraito Falls, a designated natural monument, is located in the scenic foothills of Itoshima. The visiting season’s start is celebrated with a Shinto ritual followed by somen nagashi (noodle catching) and mochi maki (rice-cake tossing). Enjoy viewing the area’s many hydrangeas from late June to early July, too.
