The Chinese or Lunar New Year is nearly upon us! The festival is widely celebrated throughout the Greater China Region and in fact, the entire world. A special event will also be held in Fukuoka to mark the occasion. A Mongolian song and dance performance will take place along with a popular karaoke competition for non-Japanese persons. Canal City Hakata will be decorated in Chinese colors for one day as part of the festivities!
