Italy’s Lorenzo “Surfer Joe” Valdambrini is truly one of the key figures in modern surf music. Known as “the international surf music ambassador”, Lorenzo is present at practically every notable world surf music event, as either an artist or an organizer. He has collected an experience of more than a thousand concerts since the late nineties. Constantly on tour in Europe and USA, Lorenzo had the honor to play guitar or drums with several surf legends, and he has shared the stage with many surf bands. In August 2013, Lorenzo released his first solo album, Senor Surf, which is frequently included in various TOP 100 surf music “revival” albums of all times articles. If you love the sound of reverb, high rhythms and great energy, then Surfer Joe are a must see! As part of a 12-day Japan Tour, Surfer Joe will be playing at Public House Yojigen in Fukuoka. Support comes from Naggs, The Paralyz, Fukuoka’s own female surf trio, The Whys, and DJ Chris Jack (The Routes).
