Back for the 13th installment, each year more than 1,000 visitors a year attend to cheer-on over 300 surfers participate in what is widely recognized as one of the biggest amateur surfing contests in northern Kyushu. There will be all kinds of categories in both the short and long board competitions taking place. Spectators will be treated to the view of surfers of all ages show off their ability in riding the Itoshima waves.
