An exhibition of famous images by Masayoshi Sukita will take place in the photographer’s hometown of Nogata. Sukita is famous for taking photographs of David Bowie and capturing the singer’s many transformations on film over a period of 40 years. Sukita has also shot musical icons such as T-Rex and the Yellow Magic Orchestra. Throughout his career, he has worked with legendary figures from the Japanese rock scene such as Kenji Sawada, Kiyoshiro Imawano, Makoto Ayukawa, and Tomoyasu Hotei. During the run of the exhibition, Sukita will give a lecture at his former school and a talk at the Yumenity Nogata community center.
