On the occasion of this festival in which Japanese look to the stars and make wishes, a calligraphy performance takes place. Using a massive brush, calligraphy is drawn on Japanese paper measuring 3m long and weighing 8kg. Local celebrities write a collective dedication for children’s growth and happiness.
