A traditional festival with over 210 years of history. Huge floats 10m tall and 2.5t are carried through the town at day, changing to “Pyramids of Light” at night with 309 lanterns in 12 tiers and paraded to shouts of “Yoitosa! Yoitosa!” A National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property.
