Will Guthrie is an Australian drummer who is based in France. Formally trained in jazz drums and improvised music, Guthrie is an internationally respected musician who will perform in Fukuoka for the first time as part of his upcoming solo Japan tour. For his Fukuoka performance, Guthrie will perform a solo drums set and then an improvised set with local musicians Okazaki Yasuhiro, Kido Hideaki and Shayne Bowden. A night of guaranteed ‘wowie zowie’ for lovers of contemporary jazz and improvised music.
