World Masterpiece Theater is an anime show that recounted animated versions of different Japanese every Sunday at 19:30. It originally aired from 1969 to 1997 then resumed in 2007. From Oct. 15, the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum will be celebrating the show with a special exhibition with over 300 items on display including image boards, sketches and layouts. This collection includes materials from stories such as “A Dog of Flanders”, “3000 Leagues in Search of Mother”, “Anne of Green Gables”. The exhibition will include never before seen items including 30 sketches of Anne of Green Gables done by Hayao Miyazaki! The museum shop will also be selling limited edition goods that will only be available at the exhibit!
