Fukuoka Vintage Clothing Shop Guide

The owner’s love for alternative and grunge rock music shows in the ’80s~’90s grunge fashion style of items in this vintage clothing shop. Push “me” Harder

Tiny and cute, this vintage store is located in Daimyo. Despite its size, it offers a variety of vintage items in stock ranging from girly to feminine. Even people who have never tried on vintage clothing before could easily find something to wear for their first time! Dried flowers decorate the interior coupled with yellow lights, giving the store a warm and soft feel.

Kimagureya (きまぐれや)

Most of the clothes, bags, shoes, and other items sold in this offbeat store are ’60s~’70s Japanese retro items. All items are painstakingly handpicked by the store manager, who feels each pattern and button to check for the delicate, authentic impression of clothes of that period. Kimagureya, which has two branches (Kimagureya Ane and Kimagureya Imouto) also sells unique handmade accessories.

Snugly located in an alley in the Nishijin shopping district, the shop owner is known to dispense advice not only about fashion, but also about life to his customers. Aged fifty-nine years old, he purchases all items based on his years of experience by considering the quality and history of each. As a result, most products offered at Ichigo-ichie are stylish and of good quality. Quality products and the owner’s wisdom are the secrets to this shop’s success!

With a modern and simple interior, this vintage shop specializing in European clothing is located on the main street of Daimyo above popular, long-standing sweets shop “Komaya”. They specialize in buying and selling recent European vintage items for daily, trendy wear. A Japanese retro vintage shop located in Daimyo. Selling ’60s~’90s Japanese vintage clothes in top condition with their original design, color, and shape, they also stock funny, nostalgic items. The owner also remakes old items into new, original ones and prints T-shirts with cute illustrations designed by the Going Bellbo manager himself. Customers will surely find a lot of interesting items here.
