Children’s Artwork on Display in Nishitetsu Buses

Nishitetsu’s Hakata Machi Gallery Bus project continues to provide local school children the chance to have their artwork be seen by locals and people visiting the area. This Hakata Taihaku-Dori Club-sponsored program is now on its eighteenth run. A total of 99 Hakata-themed paintings created by sixth grade students from Hakata Elementary School (Naraya-machi, Hakata-ku), will appear in the ¥100 bus that loops around central Fukuoka. The children’s paintings are usually displayed inside two buses, but will be visible this time on four buses until the end of October in line with the school’s 20th year anniversary.
