English, Chinese, and Korean Speaking Guides at Kushida Jinja

Volunteer guides who speak English, Chinese, and Korean will provide their services at Kushida Jinja Shrine from Feb. 10 (Sat.) to Feb. 12 (Mon.), and Feb. 16 (Fri.) to Feb. 19 (Mon). The guides will be on hand to help with the large number of tourists expected to visit the shrine and Hakata Machiya Folk Museum during the Chinese New Year. The volunteers will be on duty from 11:00 to 16:00 and provide assistance to any visitors who have questions about the local area, surrounding facilities, or inquiries about ritual practices inside the shrine. English guides will wear red jackets while the Chinese guides will wear yellow and the Korean guides will be in green. The service is free and reservations are not required.
