Fall in Tenjin Land Prices Stops

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport released its April report on regional land prices showing that while land prices continued to fall in 82% of the 150 primary commercial and residential districts surveyed nationwide, prices were flat in the Tenjin district of Fukuoka City over the same period. It was the first time in two years that prices in that district had not declined. One factor cited was that Parco had opened a new store in the former location of the Iwataya department store. The price declines also slowed in the neighboring Akasaka district.
