Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau announced on July 3 that a new pair ticket for families will become available from July 26. Instead of buying a separate one-day adult ticket (¥620) and one-day child ticket (¥310), parents can buy a one-day Family Pair Ticket (valid for one adult and one child)for ¥800 to save ¥130. In addition families of two adults and children under 12 y.o. can buy the one-day Family Subway Ticket instead for ¥1,000. The Family Subway Ticket was previously introduced to facilitate the needs of families with young children.
