Ippudo is re-opening their Tenjin Nishi-dori location tomorrow, Feb. 22 (Wed.) with a new two story restaurant. The ground floor will feature Ippudo’s first standing bar in Fukuoka and their third in Japan after Hamamatsucho and Nishi Gotanda in Tokyo. Inspiration for the standing bar came from Japanese kakuuchi. The grand opening slogan is the famous line from the manga ‘Ashita no Joe’, “Tate…! Tatsunda” (Stand up!) Source: Ippudo News, 2/20
