Free menu translation app service launched

On February 22 the TagFIT Association (Fukuoka City) launched a free multi-language translation app called ‘kotoZna’. All you need to do is send in a photo including the Japanese text you need translated and you will receive back a QR code with the translated text. Currently supported languages include English, Chinese, and Korean with more on the way. To celebrate the launch they have offered free menu translations to restaurants and cafes. The business owners can add the QR code with the translations to their menus so tourists can easily scan the code and get the menu in their native language.
