The Fukuoka Directive Council (FDC) is recruiting people interested in pursuing AI-related businesses in an initiative called the Fukuoka AI Community. This is part of efforts by Fukuoka City to develop IoT (internet of things) technology to operate autonomous cars, drone couriers, and online medical services. Their goal is to use data gathered from experiments to improve existing industries and create new services.
