Fukuoka City Releases Disaster Prevention App

Fukuoka City has developed a new app called Tsunagaru Plus with Fujitsu Kyushu. The app can be used to create communities or groups among people with common interests to help facilitate the exchange of information. It is also possible to post information about your current location, introduce news about local events, or provide traffic updates. The app automatically switches to “disaster mode” in times of disaster and lets users key in information such as designated evacuation shelters in their neighborhoods, delivery time of supplies and more. It is available for download for iPhone and Android smartphone users. Source: Fukuoka City, 4/11/2018
