Drone startups from all over the world are invited to the “World Drone Startup Meet Festival Fukuoka” in Fukuoka, Japan. Fukuoka City, designated a National Strategic Special Zone for Global Startups and Job Creation, has conducted various demonstration experiments with drones. Now, led by Intel – leaders of the “Industrial Revolution of the Sky”- drone-related companies and startups, both domestic and foreign, will meet at the first ever Drone Fes in Fukuoka. There will be business matching, lectures, panel discussions. 24 companies are expected to participate.
There is also a drone video contest taking place. Category A: Submissions that include images of Nokonoshima Island (Grand Prize, Fukuoka City Mayor’s Award, ¥100,000) and Category B: Submissions that include images of Fukuoka City (Grand prize ¥30,000)
