Fukuoka Hawks Hero Lee Dae-Ho Signs with Seattle Mariners

Korean-born SoftBank Hawks slugger Lee Dae-Ho has officially announced that he will move to the USA to continue his career in the minor leagues of MLB. On Feb. 3, he signed with the Seattle Mariners, in a deal worth approximately $4 million per year (¥478,000,000). Lee Dae-Ho began his career with Lotte (Korean League) before moving to the Orix Buffaloes in 2012, and then to the SoftBank Hawks in 2014, where he helped Fukuoka win the national championship for two consecutive years.
