Hotto Motto Opens its First Shop in Australia

Hotto Motto is based in Hakata Ward and has 2,647 shops in Japan as well as three in China and six in Korea. On Dec. 8 they are opening a new shop in The Galeries, a shopping centre in Sydney, Australia. It will be the company’s first Hotto Motto shop outside of Asia. In 2013, Hotto Motto established an Australian subsidiary company called PLENUS AusT PTY. LTD. before opening a branch of the Japanese teishoku restaurant ‘Yayoi’ in 2014. A second Yayoi was opened in 2015 in The Galeries, where Hotto Motto is due to open. Source: PR Wire, Nov. 30, 2016
