The roads surrounding the Shiraito Falls and Fureai no Sato in Itoshima are temporarily closed due to mudslides caused by the heavy rain that fell during the first week of July. Access to the waterfalls and Fureai no Sato will not be possible until road repairs have been completed. A public announcement will be posted on Itoshima City’s website once the safety of roads have been confirmed and shops and services near the falls have reopened.
