JR Kyushu and JR Kyushu Trading Co., Ltd. released their second range of themed masking tapes on March 4. The new series of six tapes feature local trains and sightseeing spots. The three smaller size tapes (15 mm x 10 m) which include designs of Huis Ten Bosch cost ¥302, while the wider tapes (20 mm x 10 m) feature trains such as the JR Kyushu Sweet Train and cost ¥367. Creative employees at JR Kyushu’s Tokyo branch, which has published the handwritten free newspaper Tetsubun since 2011, helped create the illustrations that appear on the masking tapes.
