Kyuden Launches All-Electric Campaign

Kyushu Electric Power Company (Kyuden) is holding a campaign until the end of the year for promoting the benefits of running a home using electricity. The aim of the promotion is to see more than one million all-electric houses. This initiative is held in conjunction with companies that manufacture induction heater (IH) cookers and electric boilers. There will be a drive to promote the benefits of running a house on just electricity, as well as the products that can help facilitate the transition. Financial institutions are also involved by offering a limited number of special loans to customers looking for help in paying for the interior renovation and refurbishment that might be required to turn their households to all-electric.
