Kyushu International Sightseeing Square Opens in Fukuoka

On Jul. 27 (Wed.), Kyushu International Sightseeing Square (KISS) opened in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka. Aimed at inbound tourists, the complex includes stores, restaurants and a stage. The shopping area’s kimono and ninja outfit-clad staff sell 3,000 products, mainly from Kyushu and Okinawa, including crafts, food, miscellaneous goods, cosmetics, souvenirs and more. A food court offers Japanese and western cuisine made with Kyushu ingredients. There will occasionally be performances showing off Kyushu’s culture on the stage.
